The hostel is located in the Barra da Lagoa neighborhood, one of the most traditional in Florianópolis, preserving the local fishing culture.

A 5-minute walk from the hostel, you reach the beach, and 10 minutes, you arrive at the center of Barra da Lagoa, which is located on the edge of the Canal. It's a typical scenario of a fishing community, surrounded by nature.

In addition to the surfing, other sports find space in the area, such as stand up paddle, kayaking, polynesian canoe, kite and windsurfing, paragliding, hang gliding and as many trails up the hills passing by the Canal.

The neighborhood also offers a great gastronomic weekend, full of restaurants serving typical island cuisine.
