Boat Tour Costa da Lagoa
The Costa da Lagoa is a neighborhood accessed only by trail or boat, it's a cultural and gastronomic experience in the middle of nature. Many people choose to hike to the neighborhood, where there are several restaurants serving typical island cuisine and return by boat. You can also visit the Costa da Lagoa Waterfall, which is located near the neighborhood's downtown area.
The main boat to Costa leaves from downtown Lagoa da Conceição, but it is also possible to cross through the Rio Vermelho neighborhood, leaving from the Lacustre Terminal.
There are two starting points:
The Terminal Lacrustre, located near the entrance of the Rio Vermelho Forest Park; or the downtown area of Lagoa da Conceição.
Costa da Lagoa is only accessible by trail or boat, it's a traditional fishing community with excellent restaurants serving local food.
